This is a project between Ora's ninth grade class at Sieff and Marks School in Jerusalem and Lora Duncan's class in Florida, USA. We will be discussion our cities and some of our traditions.

I celebrate Shavuot becuase it is a Jewish holiday. On this holiday we eat milk products and eat a lot. It's also "water day" all the childrean spray one another.
My name is Kristalynne. I celebrate Thanksgiving where I eat a lot. I spend time with my family and it is a day to be thankful an to thank God for everything I have. I think the "water day" sounds really cool. We don't have a holiday where we spray eachother with water, but I would like to. Have a great summer!
My name is Kelli. We celebrate Memorial Day on the last Monday in May each year, because we are recognizing and appreciating the veterans that served in the armed forces in previous wars. Some veterans gave their lives for our country. So Memorial Day is a very special day for us. This year, we remembered my grandfather and his stories, as he was a veteran. I am thankful for this opportunity to learn more about your holidays and culture.
